About MCDS

Marin Country Day School is an independent, coeducational day school with an enrollment of 600 students in grades K-8. We enroll children from both San Francisco and Marin County and actively seek diversity in our administration, faculty and student body.

The school's mission is to "create an inclusive community of learning that inspires curiosity, empathy and action." We equip children to become strong learners and ethical human beings, prepared and motivated to make their world a better and healthier place. Our current strategic plan — Forge the Path Forward — outlines the goals and commitments that will be our focus over the next several years.
