At MCDS, we offer a robust academic program centered around place-based, project-based, and experiential education. Our curriculum is intentionally scaffolded around skills acquisition to ensure that all learners—from kindergarten through eighth grade—develop the intellectual, social, and emotional foundations to thrive. 

Our learning environment is alight with wonder, alive with inquiry and discovery, as students are encouraged not only to ask what and how, but to interrogate the “why” behind ideas, systems, and experiences. 

At the heart of all this work is an enduring devotion to the preservation of childhood—a deep belief that learning should be joyful, developmentally attuned, and respectful of the pace and rhythm of growing up.

We hold this as both a privilege and a responsibility, ensuring that each child is known, valued, and allowed the time and space to wonder, grow, and flourish.
