Campus Tours
October 2025 - January 2026
A vital part of learning about MCDS is at our in-person Campus Tours where you will have the opportunity to meet our Head of School, Molly Bozzo, our Admission Team, along with other faculty, staff and students. These visits include an extensive campus tour hosted by current MCDS parents/guardians where you will get a sneak peek into the daily life of the MCDS community.
Please note that the campus tour is a required application step for families in the Admission process. Campus tours are reserved for families that are applying for the 2026-2027 academic school year.

San Francisco Bus Stop Meetups
We would like to extend an invitation for you and your child to meet and connect with current MCDS San Francisco families who live in your neighborhood and ride the bus to school! This is a casual, fun, family-oriented event that will begin at the designated MCDS bus stop and may move to a nearby playground. The Bus Stop Meet Ups are optional, but a great way to experience the bus community! Click here to register in Ravenna for a Bus Stop Meetup. Self-Guided Family Tours
Saturday, October 25, 2025 and Saturday, December 13, 2025
This is an opportunity for the whole family to explore our beautiful 35-acre campus in Corte Madera, just 9 miles from Golden Gate Bridge. The Admission Team and MCDS parents/guardians will be on campus to answer any questions. Families are encouraged to bring their children along as there are activities for the whole family to enjoy on the tour route. Click here to register for a Self-Guided Family Tour. This event is optional.
Pets are not allowed at this time.
Admission Receptions
All of our admission receptions are optional events throughout the admission season. Registration is required to attend these events.
San Francisco Admission Reception
October 22, 2025
6:00pm - 7:30pm at The Store House (2 Marina Blvd., Landmark Building D, Floor 1, San Francisco, 94123)
Curriculum Night Reception
November 18, 2025
6:00pm - 7:30pm at MCDS
*MCDS will be providing bus transportation from San Francisco for the Curriculum Night Reception. The bus will leave the Presidio Officers' Club parking lot at 5:15 PM. The return bus will leave MCDS at 7:40 PM. This is an opportunity to experience the students daily commute to and from MCDS!
If you are registering for the Curriculum Night Reception, and would like to ride the bus to and from the event, you must register separately in Ravenna under Curriculum Night Reception Bus Transportation (space is limited).

Student Assessments / Visits
Kindergarten
The Kindergarten Screening
The Kindergarten Screening is a required step in the application process. You must submit the application prior to registering for the screening. The Screening is a one-on-one in person assessment. You may sign up for a screening on either January 10, 2026 at Marin Country Day School, OR at the Cypress School of San Francisco (387 Moraga Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94129) on January 31, 2026.
The Kindergarten Playdate
The Kindergarten Playdate is a required step in the application process. You must submit the application prior to registering for the Playdate. The Playdate is a chance for your child to spend the morning with other prospective kindergarteners and MCDS faculty. This is an opportunity to get to know your child and for them to take a peek into the kindergarten experience.
More details will be provided to applying families via their Ravenna account.
Grades 1-5
1st to 5th grade applicants are required to attend the Lower School Admission Day on Saturday, February 7, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Applicants will meet Lower School faculty and other students applying for admission and complete academic assessments. More details are available in your Ravenna dashboard.
Grade 6 & 7
6th and 7th grade applicants are required to attend the Upper School Admission Day that will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Applicants will meet Upper School faculty and other students applying for admission and complete academic assessments.

- December 1, 2025: Indexed Tuition applications due for current MCDS families.
- December 28, 2025: Applications due for Kindergarten applicants.
- January 15, 2026: Applications due for students applying to Grades 1 - 7.
- January 15, 2026: Indexed Tuition applications due for applicant families to MCDS.
- February 1, 2026: Teacher Evaluation Forms due for all applicants.
- March 19, 2026: Admission Decisions posted in your child's Ravenna account at 12:00 PM PST.
- March 25, 2026: Family Reply Deadline is 5:00 PM PST.
