The Martial Arts class in our ASAP program is widely-respected. It's a great form of exercise, but it also provides students with so much more beyond that.
After School Programs
MCDS offers a variety of after-school enrichment programs for students in grades K-8. On a typical afternoon, a student might take music lesson or an enrichment course after school and/or go to the PM after-school program for supervised activities with friends before taking the 5:00pm bus home.

- FORTE (After School Music Program)
PM, our after-school extended care program, provides a safe, caring, engaging and playful environment for students in grades K-4. PM is open after school hours Monday through Friday until 6:00pm.
Activities include indoor and outdoor games, arts and crafts, building and design-related projects, free play and informal sports activities. PM also provides time for homework, relaxation and exploration. Afternoon snacks are included.
The PM Program hosts a special event during the school year: a Root Beer Float Day in May.
Teamwork and sportsmanship are crucial elements in any sporting environment and especially in PM.
We are so lucky that we get the opportunity to do so many creative art projects in PM. Here are some easy, fun art projects that you could do at home over winter break!
